Staffordshire Police Authority

The Panel consists of five Authority members together with an executive officer of the Force and relevant staff from the Performance Development Team, Communications and Marketing and the Police Authority.

The Panel considers and agrees annually the Strategic Consultation Programme and the Consultation and Engagement Action Plan.  They also monitor, scrutinise and evaluate the implementation of the Programme and the Action Plan and refine and amend as appropriate.

The Panel also ensure that different stakeholders, citizens and communities are engaged in the development and delivery of the Programme; ensure effective linkages into partnership arrangements; report key messages to appropriate audiences; ensure the priorities and needs identified inform and influence the performance, planning and decision making processes and the Authority's and Force's developing Strategy and Plans.

The Panel make, as appropriate, recommendations to the Authority through the Performance, Citizen Focus and Resources Committee.
