The governance structure comprises the Police Authority, which meets five times per year, and five strategic committees, namely:
- Audit, Governance and Risk;
- People, Policy and Development;
- Ethical and Professional Standards;
- Performance, Citizen Focus and Resources;
- Custody Visiting and Volunteers.
