Mr Peter Hayward
Peter Hayward joined the Police Authority on 27 May 2011 and is your link member for Stoke (South).
Peter trained as a mains electricty distribution engineer, gaining Associate membership of the Institute of Electrical Engineers. He later worked as a building services design engineer becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. Following the oil crisis of 1973/74 Peter was appointed as Energy manager for Staffordshire County Council.
Peter took early retirement from Staffordshire County Council after 26 years service and now works in the private sector.
Peter's specialist interests are performance management and community safety engagement.
