Mr Derek Davis O.B.E. is your Police Authority Lead Member for Cannock.
Derek has been a County Councillor for the Chadsmoor Division of Cannock Chase since 1985. He is in full time employment as a Property Consultant in Hednesford Town Centre, where he is also a member of the Parish Council.
For almost twenty years, until 2009, Derek was Chairman of the Staffordshire Fire Authority. He has also served as Deputy Leader of the County Council.
He is an ardent "Wolves" supporter and also plays golf at a local club. Derek is married to Muriel, also a local Councillor. They have one son, Mark, who is a Councillor on Stoke City Council. Derek enjoys local history and is currently compiling a history of the Chase village of Hazel Slade.
