Randy was born in Stoke-on-Trent in 1959 and spent most of his childhood in Penkhull Children’s Home. He worked for almost twenty years at both Hem Heath and Silverdale Colliery.
Randy has been heavily involved in voluntary work for NORSACA (North Staffs African Caribbean Association) for many years, including a successful campaign against a million pound housing project which would have been detrimental to NORSACA.
He was elected as an Independent on Stoke-on-Trent City Council. He was appointed sole BME representative for Staffordshire Police Authority.
Randy continues to assist ethnic minority groups, is on a number of Committees for the Staffordshire Police Authority and also Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Randy lives in Penkhull with his son.
