Mr Andrew Compton M.B.E.
Andy is Chairman of the Central and South West Staffs Bench of Magistrates and a member of the Court Board for the West Midlands 4 area.
He served for over thirty years as a member of Stafford Borough Council during which time he represented the Holmcroft Ward.
Between 1993 and 1994 he served as Mayor of Stafford and held positions as Chairman of the Policy Committee and Cabinet Member for Resources.
In the New Years Honours list for 2007 he received an MBE for services to Stafford.
Andy was formerly a lecturer at Stoke Sixth Form College where he held various middle management positions.
Andy is married and has two children and one grandchild.
