Mr Philip Atkins is your Police Authority member for Uttoxeter.
Philip became Leader of Staffordshire County Council in June 2009 following election success which saw the Conservatives take control of the County Council. He has represented Uttoxeter Rural on the County Council since 1987. He is also a backbench member of East Staffordshire Borough Council after standing down as Deputy Leader Health and Leisure to focus on his county role.
Philip is a Governor at South Staffordshire College, a Member of the West Midlands Leader Board and a Rocester Parish Councillor.
In addition to his public duties Philip runs his own farm and is Chairman of the local branch of the National Farmers Union and Uttoxeter District Farmers.
