David is a former head teacher and retired after thirty-seven years with Staffordshire Local Education Authority.
He has been a magistrate for thirty years and is a former Chairman of the Central and South-West Staffordshire Bench.
David is also a school governor.
David was appointed as Vice-Chairman of the Authority in June 2003 and as Chairman in July 2009.
